Did you know that as of now, there are no state or federal standards to become a dog trainer.  There is a wide range of skills and knowledge within the dog training business.

Did you know that methods of training not based on rewards can in fact worsen aggression or fearful issues?

Be sure when you hire a trainer with years of experience that the trainer has updated his training methods.

As an ABC certified dog trainer (honor graduate), I have gone through an extensive program that included both theory and hours of hands-on-training.

There are trainers’ associations that offer certification as well such as IACP, APDT, and NADOI but none of them require anything close to the level of ABC.
